MaPZS – Guide to Hiking Trails in Slovenia

MaPZS is a publicly accessible web application (PWA – Progressive Web Application), developed in cooperation with the Alpine Association of Slovenia. It provides insight into hiking trails across Slovenia and its immediate surroundings, which are managed within the internal system by over 200 alpine associations, tourist organizations, local communities, and foresters.

On the interactive map, users can view marked trails, attractions, peaks, and other important points, or create their own personalized hiking tour.
The application also includes a connection to all mountain huts in Slovenia, where users can check their opening hours, accommodation availability, and other useful information. In cooperation with Triglav National Park, quiet zones for nature protection and hiker counters are also marked, providing insight into the visitation of Slovenia’s pristine nature. Bus and train timetables for all stations in the country are also available to the user.
