A tour of Plečnik’s open-space designs in Ljubljana

In April, the month of landscape architecture, the Association of Landscape Architects of Slovenia each year provides a varied programme of exhibitions, lectures and excursions, which the wider public can also attend. One of the first events this year was a guided tour of Plečnik’s open-space designs in Ljubljana.

This year, colleagues from the Department of Landscape Architecture took part with interest in the walk, led by landscape architect and conservator, M.A. Darja Pergovnik. The walk was illustrated with archival plans and photographs published in her book “Plečnik’s Green Ljubljana”.
